1. Who we are

VENASGROUP ("VENASGROUP", "we", "us") provides AI guided will and trust drafting tools. We are the data controller for the personal data processed through our service. Contact: support@venasgroup.org.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, login credentials.
  • Document content: information you enter while building a will, trust, brain dump, farewell letter, or messages (names of beneficiaries, asset descriptions, personal notes, photos you upload).
  • Usage and device data: IP address, browser, pages visited, basic telemetry used to operate and secure the service.
  • Support communications: messages you send us.

3. Why we use it (purpose and legal basis)

  • Create and operate your account, generate your documents, and deliver the service you purchased: performance of a contract.
  • Secure the service, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain logs: legitimate interests.
  • Comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations: legal obligation.
  • Send service emails (receipts, account notices). Marketing emails only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. How we share your data

  • Paddle.com Market Ltd: our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes all payments, handles billing, tax compliance, invoices, refunds, and subscription management. Payment data you enter at checkout is collected by Paddle directly.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that store and serve the application and database under contract.
  • AI service providers we use to power document drafting features, limited to the inputs needed to generate your draft.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
  • Authorities when required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Retention

We keep account and document data for as long as your account is active. After deletion, we remove or anonymise personal data within 90 days, except where we must retain records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. UK/EEA residents have rights under GDPR including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email support@venasgroup.org and we will respond within one month.

7. Security

We use industry standard technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row level authorization in our database. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

8. International transfers

Personal data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to operate the service. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear cookies via your browser settings.

10. Changes

We may update this notice from time to time; we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
